Nomad is a 2.5D Side Scrolling Action Adventure game created using Unreal Engine 3 over 10 weeks by 12+ people. You play as the Nomad, a warrior who is gifted powers to combat an old god who is determined to return the planet to a lifeless state. The player has access to four versatile abilities, each useful during combat, traversing, and puzzle solving. I was responsible for Game Design Documentation, Level Design, Lore and World building.

Map design layout:

This is the finalized map design for the level made for the demo. It is designed to teach players to the mechanics of the game. The player starts off at the broken bridge, going to the right through the temple. There he picks up the first power and is now able to cross the bridge and go back to his village on the left.

Sound puzzle prototype:

This sound puzzle loops over and over again until all the three note progressions harmonize. One would get the ability to interact with this after gaining Jaya's Power.
